I worked as CNA in a assisted living facility where you do most of the work, you work as a caregiver, do their laundry, server at dinner, cleaner after dinner, put residents to bed at bedtime…
go out dragging all heavy trashes and dumping them all at the dumpster at the back of the building where the spot is dark, you get wet when it rains, no protection being provided at all. Worst part is that you are dragging the big trash bins in the dining room even when there are residents who are having their late lunch.
We do a lot of lifting to the residents without any help from your co-worker. Most of them are racist that’s why they don’t care about you.
With all those workloads you only get $13 per hour which is not really enough and worth the work you are doing.
I wish i can name that assisted living facility. That place is horrible! The nurse even got fired out because of stealing money and narcotic meds of the residents. Can you imagine that?! I wish that facility be closed.
